I know that when I get sick, the last thing I want to do is wait to get help. And, while sometimes you can get in to see your provider quickly, I wanted to let you know that as a member of Presbyterian Health Plan, you have more options to get care now. Our priority is that you are able to have immediate access to care that is close to home. As a health plan member, your options to get the care you need include: ● ● Online Visits— With Online Visits, if you have a common illness like a cold and have been seen by a Presbyterian clinician in the past three years, you can fill out an online questionnaire and a Presbyterian clinician can evaluate your condition and prescribe medication, if necessary. You can get an Online Visit at no cost. Just go to www.phs.org/OnlineVisits . ● ● Urgent care appointments— No more waiting at Presbyterian urgent care clinics. It takes about two minutes to schedule your appointment online and you’ll be seen right away when you arrive at the clinic. ● ● Video Visits— You don’t even need to leave your bed to see a doctor. Video Visits are ideal for issues including rashes, allergies, sore throats, eye infections, and sports injuries. You can get a Video Visit at no cost. Just go to www.phs.org/ VideoVisits . ● ● 24/7 urgent and emergency care centers— In June 2019, Presbyterian will open the first of four 24/7 urgent and emergency care centers where members can access urgent or emergency care any time. Of course, a visit to your provider’s office is still an option but my hope is that by offering more places to get care, we can help you get better, faster. This is why Presbyterian exists—to improve the health of those we serve.
