We are here for you Tribal liaisons in your community Presbyterian is increasing our outreach to the native communities. Mellisa Logg was the Northwest Region tribal liaison for Presbyterian Centennial Care and traveled the state to teach Native American communities about the additional benefits and services they can receive for their healthcare needs. She is now the Supervisor for Centennial Care Government Programs–Outreach Education. “As a tribal liaison in the Northwest Region, I would try to be in every community to let the community members know what they have available to them [with Presbyterian Centennial Care],” she says. “I enjoyed traveling the state and visiting tribal communities to help people.” Logg has a master’s degree in educational leadership, yet her passion for helping people and serving the Native American community comes from her work in public health. She has been working with the Native American community for over 10 years. “I’ve learned a lot about the different communities’ healthcare needs, and I am now able to use this knowledge to help the new tribal liaisons that will be joining our team,” Logg says.
