www.phs.org/centennialcare 9 It can be confusing to know where to go to get the quality of care you need, when you need it. That’s why Presbyterian Centennial Care has worked hard to add many convenient facilities to our network throughout the state. Did you know that many common tests and treatments performed in a hospital can be easily done at a more convenient location? Choosing a non-hospital location can be more convenient, too. You may be able to get an appointment sooner, it might be closer to home, or perhaps the location is just easier to get in and out of. You are also helping to cut down on the overall cost of healthcare when you use a non-hospital setting for some services. Providing quality services at a lower cost helps Medicaid cover more people. To help you choose the most convenient facility for the services you need: ● Ask your provider if you can get a procedure or x-ray at a non- hospital location. Many of the providers who deliver care in a hospital oftentimes provide the same quality care in outpatient locations too. ● Call the Presbyterian Customer Service Center number on the back of your member ID card for assistance in choosing a care location with the lowest cost.
